I love Co Star! It is a wonderful boutique with great service. The kind of service that is friendly and helpful but isn’t pushy at all. I always feel comfortable to just drop in and look around.

This shop is located right in the heart of the main tourist street of Austin called South Congress, yet it has great prices, which is so surprising.

The front area of Co Star has new casual clothes, denims and tops for men and women: basic casual items that are good wardrobe investments. They even sell shoes, hats and accessories; all with a casual bend.

The back of the store is shared by Archive Vintage. This area boasts amazingly well-curated vintage clothing and accessories for women. I always find a treasure to buy and add to my collection. The other day I bought a super well priced Diane Freis dress from the late 80’s. It is in perfect condition. Before that I bought red boots from the 80’s with a rounded point and low retro heel, which I get countless compliments on. On another visit I found a simply girly bubblegum pink silk blouse that I will covet forever. The color makes me giggle, especially when I pair it with a bright pink lipstick!

The price range of the vintage items they offer is huge: from about $50 all the way to $1,500 for a collectable evening ensemble. So there really is something for every budget.

Co Star and Archive Vintage are definitely must go to places for anyone who loves mixing retro fashion with modern casual!! Happy Shopping.
